Sergio Romero got injured and their 2nd best has like 5-6 games for the national team. Fazio on the bench, and rumour has it Messi did not want Icardi in the team, while Maradona gave an interview saying its better to use Higuain than Aguero(mind you, Aguero divorced Diegos daughter). He is a cracking player too. I was reading an article before that apparently its because he's too similar to Messi and they can't really play together that he hasn't had much game time.
