Look at Barcelona and Real Madrid who are on a level like Rangers and celtic are in terms of rivalry and perhaps even more so pointed politically in recent times yet their players went fuck it well put aside the fact we hate each others guts to win.

That is a good point and shows the individual approach needed. As I and others said earlier, it is no secret that some of our players and celtic players have been good friends although it stopped on the park. The performances were not impaired by those friendships and it didn't stop them competing passionately against each other on the park or playing together for Scotland.

Clearly there is naivety with our players today. If Baxter and Crerand were drinking buddies, you can bet Baxter wouldn't have been pictured hugging Crerand the night of an Old Firm loss.  Social media makes it worse as there are less places to hide. For me, I can understand why KT and Brown who came up as youths and mates together work at his academy - it is away from Rangers and you don't see them laughing and joking after Old Firm matches. For our players to be seen laughing and pally with Allan after how he has behaved and kicked Rossiter is just naive and shows how little they care in my opinion.

The whole issue with social media is people want to broadcast every fucking thing they do so they have to accept that at times they are going to take abuse from certain things and it’s up to them to understand the right time to share and the right time to keep it to yourself.

if they want to be mates with a wee prick like Allan then that’s their decision and while I don’t agree with it especially after Sunday I can’t change it but they should have enough sense to know that this season has been a disaster and the last thing we want to see is players cavorting with someone that nearly broke our players leg a day before.

The reason many football players play football for a living is because they are, in many cases, thick, a bit dim, stupid or dumb  

Hence the reason they are not doctors, architects or surgeons.

We assume that the majority should have some intelligence when the truth is they are all a bit thick 

all the stupid folk at my school were the best at sports. Except the wee guy who peed himself regularly in 4th yr - he was just good at pishing himself tbh.
