There are 2 agreements, the original one green refused to sign and the one in the link, which makes no mention of titles or stripping, I don't think the original has surfaced yet.

It was. Green was more than prepared to accept title stripping as a consequence of getting the licence to play. McCoist - and others including Sandy Jardine - firmly put him in his place over that one.

I think Green said he didn't realise how important the titles were at first then after consideration he wouldn't sign the one with the title stripping. Obviously with McCoist and Jardine's input. 

Just a shame McCoist's wee soundbyte about never forgetting who kicked us when we were down didn't last long - months later he was criticising the fans for non-existing death threats to the transfer embargo panel and then after that saying he was disappointed that Hearts never got to host the Ramsdens final instead of Hibs as they were in administration or needed the money, despite them being the first ones to vote us out the leagues. McCoist cares about McCoist only as far as I'm concerned, if the titles they wanted to take weren't ones he'd had a hand in as part of the management set-up he'd have rolled over like the little whore he was.

I don't have time to read all of that link but I think it was right we agreed to pay our footballing debts - I'd have also went one step further and said the first couple of million from the 24-million Green raised from the share issue to pay off the rest of the debts to your average man and company. It's only fair. Not everyone agree's with me tho.

No it wasn't.  I happen to know someone who was in the room and Green was the one who told them that there would be no stripping of titles.

He may have been a cock and was probably doing it to serve his own interests but Green most definitely told them that title stripping would not be happening. 

To be fair Ally then supported Green in digging his heels in.

I was also told that Ally also missed two meetings about this within the club before the main meeting.

I know Jim Ballantyne the then Airdrie chairman and committee member of the SPL and he told me that Green was agreeing to it during the meeting until McCoist threatened to walk out

At that moment there was a break in the meeting and Green and Ally had a animated discussion for 2/3 minutes by which time Green completely changed his mind and refused title stripping - point blank
