They didn’t put it in a release, it was corresponding to the victims lawyers.

They only stated the relevant body for which the victims lawyers will have to contact if they want to pursue a case.

Nope - the whole tone of this ‘debate’ is wrong! There is no place for abuse. Our club should have thought this through rather than trying to pass it off on old co! That’s embarrassing. And trying to say ‘you’re worse than us’ on this subject is the wrong approach by our fans.

Are they meant to lie to the lawyers, telling them that legal responsibility does fall with us but in reality the court won’t recognise it.

Whilst Rangers oldco are in existence then it falls upon them to answer it. If they no longer exists then I could see why responsibility might have to befall on the new body.

But on the whole we're not saying 'you're worse than us'. We're pointing out that there is media silence on Torbett and that Neely was far worse at other clubs but they are not named. The only club to report an abuser was Rangers but we are being targeted by the press, while they ignore the failings of the other clubs. If you refuse to see this then there's really no helping you.

I sent an online complaint to the BBC last night asking if the bosses in England are aware of the bias that their counterparts in Scotland have towards just one football Club and to see why the report fails to mention Hibs who basically failed to even tell Rangers about Neely never mind telling the police.

I might get a response from them or it will probably go nowhere. 

Bloody sad that the Club have become so pathetic in dealing with these things.

What is clear from this is that the media have an anti Rangers agenda. This should dispel any lingering doubt that even from the most sceptical supporter might of had.

It's the usual suspects the bbc, record, evening times and the herald.

Time to put this in laymans terms I think,say for example you buy a shop and it turns out one of the staff who worked for the previous owner was a nonce, should you pay compo to the victim or should the guy who employed him at the time? It's not rocket science

the BBC ARE SHITE  as an Independence supporter I know this! The main stream media are SHITE at everything but it’s a bit like referees they are shite but shite for everyone - why? Because they are Shite! 

I used to love when I was first on here - we laughed at celtic and their paranoia ( you’ll remember that) - we have got so bad we can’t even have a ‘let’s all laugh at celtic thread’ in the Bears den! ( you’ll also remember that) we are turning into them! Go figure. 

I recall when the site openly welcomed celtic supporters. All in an open forum. It was very different then but we still have a “laugh at celtic” thread it’s just rightly in general sports now. I would even do away with that thread but that’s just a personal view. 

What I also recall was while we laughed at their paranoia we allowed their conspiracy’s, which we naively dismissed as ludicrous, to become more and more mainstream to the point where they were accepted as truths. A lie told often enough. 

We laughed as they coined referees and hired private investigators. We ignored them as they hunted good people out of jobs. Those crazy fenians and their window smashing  eh  jolly jaipsters

all the while we laughed at their paranoia until drip drip drip over time their narrative of big bad unionist loyalist proddy’s became accepted. 

I am not going to list all the ways which this has manifested itself. But there can be no more glaring an example as the treatment of Rangers in 2012. Unprecedented in world football. Give me one other example of how our own FA has tried to kill us, stolen money from us, and endeavoured to isolate our club and our support. 

I say this as an expat of 18 years. As an outsider looking in. As someone who follows through technology. Maybe in the pubs and in the offline world it looks different but following the affairs in Scotland from afar it’s very apparent what has happened

There has been plenty on the tv and in the press about both those bastards - but ‘we’only seem to notice our own! And that is paranoia.
