I suppose we are just assuming but I’ve never understood it when that happens. If you are paying 100% of a players wages I’d be keeping him to be called upon if needed - even if it’s to go down to reserves and help them win games etc point is if there’s no financial benefit to you and he’s costing the same then he stays and helps us out (even if it’s on rare occasions)

whatever happened to the novel idea of if a team likes a player they buy him - that’s an art that seems to have vanished when it comes to us

I know its a completely different scenario and hes on a lot more money than Dodoo but if Rooney signs for DC utd everton will have to pay some of his wages along with Man Utd who are already paying about 100k of them even though they sold him  3 teams paying the 1 player 2 of them doing it just so he leaves.

Pompey also interested apparently.

Had a lot of mates ask if he's any good as they might sign him. I told them he's plunder but if Kal Naismith can be a key player for them, Dodoo should be fine.

DOOING THE OFF

Rangers outcast Joe Dodoo ‘to join Blackpool today’ as Ibrox clearout continues

The forward joined the Ibrox side under Mark Warburton in 2016 but has failed to make any impact and spent the first half of last season at Charlton

So who''s defo gone then so far (as of 11th June)

Jo Dodoo.
Kenny Miller.
David Bates.
Liam Kelly.
Russel Martin.
Jason Cummings.
Sean Goss.
Dalcio.
Carlos Pena - Loan.

Interest in Bruno Alves & Michael O'Halloran.

Possible free transfer for Lee Wallace.

We just need teams for :

Lee Hodson.
Fabio Cardoso.
Andy Halliday.
Eduardo Herrera.

and my personal preference to cash in on :

James Taverneir.
Wes Foderingham.
Alfredo Morelos.

Lot of work still to be done on the outgoing side of things.

Not keen on Jack, Docherty, Holt, John but they will do for squad options in an ideal world as we won't get much money for them anyway.

He was being talked up by Mulholland the other day. But transfermkt shows his contract was until 31/5/18.

Mulholland loves the kid, thinks he's a fantastic footballer but I don't really think it's in his hands - he can't really keep him in his youth set-up any longer as much as he'd like to and therefore out of his remit, I'd imagine with the decision lying with Allen and/or Gerrard now.

I think he’ll sign a years extension and go on loan maybe to Livi again.

Not if he goes to Livingston and scores a barrow load, I’d sign him to a new deal and sell him to Livi with a buyback clause not convinced he’s got what it takes to play for us.
