I also don't drink McEwan's, Carling or Tennent's lager, don't like Blackthorn cider, have never placed a bet with 32Red and always blank the wee sales guy from CR Smith whenever I come out of B&Q. I did have an NTL contract once though, but it was just the basic package.

Ah but have you been to Centre Parcs

Well we’re never going to be sponsored by that strange hippy beer you drink

I am 100% not at the wind up, but 100% in support of Dave King.

IMO yes there is much done wrong in the last three years and some methods questionable, including poor defence of the club when under attack. I recognise all that like many others.

However, in light of his more recent actions, I look on reflection to look at the cause more than the effect. Was he being held back, either from within or outwith the club?  Whatever the reasons, he is now doing all the right things IMO.

Now look back over the last month or so, Murray dumped, Gerrard appointed, two rabid haters very publicly unmasked, the scum allocation slashed and thus far the beginning a very positive player signing spree.

If true, we now have the commercialisation of our training facility, bringing in much needed revenue. More has been done in the last two months to move us forward than in the last three years.

These were all brave decisions. No more on the back foot fighting rear guard actions, but at last leading from the front.

Dumping Murray and appointing Gerrard were pivotal. The beginning of detoxification of our brand and the commercialisation of our business, realising our true potential, which can only but bring success both on and off the park.

Dave King is responsible for all of that and I take my hat off to him. No doubt he will continue to have his ways, but the truth be told, I'm fucking liking them. Personally I think King has the beating of Liewell and his acolytes and we are now seeing the resourcefulness Dave possesses. He's not to be fucked with and I wish to fuck he would have shown it earlier in respect to the cabal.

I'm pretty sure sure to where he has us headed and it's all good. I'm now seeing an edge to him that we need.

What's not to like and I'm fucking loving it.

All credit to the man.

Nah not buying it, nobody has a change of mind like that overnight

I know all these weird changes in Dave King has made life a bit traumatic for us, B A, but you have to calm down a wee bit, mate, or you are going to end up in the hospital with a coronary. You should come over to Australia and relax a bit beside the Ocean, watch the chicky babes flash the tits, have a few swallies, and chill out swimming with the Dolphins, then watch the World Cup on the Maxi-screen in Sydney.

Therapy is good for the soul.:thumbsup:

Very calm mate.

This current ride is far better than Oz for the soul, where I have also done. Perth 4 years in the oil business. Back in the the day it shut down for the weekend. A bit too quiet for me.  Not a bad place, but one can get too much of barbies, Red Backs and flies.

I agree things are looking up at this point in time. There's no way I'd live in W.A, but it's good for going to Monkey Mia to swim with the Dolphins. We never get too much of the old barbie and a couple of slabs of grog; red backs won't kill you, but the blowies are a right cunt. I live in the beautiful Blue Mountains (How good a name is that?) of NSW and it's never dull here.
