Yet the last kind of player we needed at that time in the Championship was a fast counter attacking forward, we were having problems getting through packed defences then getting hit on the counter ourselves.

So the wrong king of player football wise, but also a suspect attitude towards playing for us, which is where Warburton was naive, for me.

His rhat behaviour may have something to do with the main reasons , he is hated

As a Catholic with family ties to them he never had a chance playing for us with some of our fans
