Goldson hasn't put a foot wrong, he is the stand out for me.

He is strolling the game. Looks a really good player.

He's been solid but I'm not sure there's been enough for him to do to really comment. Not made any mistakes but, then, it's totally possible Danny Wilson would've got through this game in the same way (not to say Goldson isn't a better player).

Murphy on the left, Tavernier on the right, and that's all the creativity we have.  We need to get some good quality attackers in or it'll be a very long season indeed.

I'd like to buy a second goal, please. For us (just so there's no misunderstanding).

We are comically inept in front of goal.  Gerrard needs to be ruthless and ship the baggage out.

I'm hoping he can polish a turd. I think we should judge the team in a few months time once Gerrard has had a chance to work on a few things - mainly putting the ball in the back of the net.

Must be weird for Gerrard, who spent the bulk of his career playing with brilliant footballers against brilliant footballers, to watch this dross.

Just confirms to me that he needs to go. He can get himself in great positions but can't finish. And when those missed chances are all he contributes to a game, then that's not good enough. Same old from him.

Good transfer fee the yea, squad player at best for me.

Only attacking threat is Tav from RB. Badly need a quality replacement for Windass

More and more he's running out of position with no one covering right back. He needs to stop running across the park chasing the ball

I hope so too.  Second wind in the last 10 minutes

I can't try to like Windass anymore. He is lazy and just pointless.

Except it was his work-rate and tackling at the right-back area that started the move for the goal...
