At least we’ve kept a clean sheet and there’s now a bit of breathing space now. In the end we have to be happy with the win, but let’s hope there’s a massive improvement to come. Now we can piss about with the ball for the full 90 next week and not give a fuck. Hopefully we put them to the sword early on and give them the tanking they deserve. Credit to them though. They defended well. I can't complain too much about that tactic given where it got us in 2008. It is just irritating when you are on the receiving end!! Middleton should be starting ahead of Windass, I thought we were far to slow and ponderous until him and Ejaria added a bit of urgency to our game. We have some big lads in the box now so why are we taking short corners with no plan and allowing the opposition the chance to shut us down, baffling.
