Pretty much sums it up. Solid at the back, something to build from, job done but also good to see he acknowledges the lack of quality in the 3rd third.

Is the 3rd third just behind the 2nd fourth?

Glad he's not avoided the lack of quailty in the final 3rd.

He sounds annoyed by it and hopefully improvements are on the way.

If he doesn’t sort out middle to front we’ll win fuck all.

Like KAI mentioned if we’ve 3m to spend on one player I’d like it to be a creative midfielder.

Whats the point creating more chances if no ome can finish.

We had plenty chances over two legs to make it 10 nil.

Didnt take them

He's made "Tav" club captain and let "Josh" pull on a Rangers shirt again. Not sure Gerrard is really the messiah we'd hoped for. Not sure I can be bothered with more boring "pressers".

When he gets rid of the long term losers in our squad, I'll start to take him seriously.

Are you brain dead mate?

Prioritise defensive cover over midfield and attacking options - sounds good

Very good summary - and by the way, a little intelligence has been shown - in that our opposition was Macedonian, a much warmer/humid climate - and we held our pre-season in Spain.

It's not as if the transfer window ends next week though - there's plenty of time to sort out the midfield and attack.

Fair enough assessment of the game by SG. Job done tonight but we really need to improve bigtime if we are to offer a serious challenge for the title this season.

Think we need a quality midfielder and goalscorer as a matter of urgency as we are lacking quality in the final third.

He looked well annoyed during the game.

It's a matter of just how many more chances he gives last year's failures.

IMO, Morelos and Windass are imposters, Tav just not a good enough defender and never a captain. If he persists with them, they        will cost us.

Wow ok then we have no one of a decent quality to cover cb but we have far too many midfielders but let’s keep adding to the ever growing list to the midfield CB would be my top priority then look at the wide areas before anything else folk losing there shit after 3 competitive games we haven’t even hit August yet not forgetting the fact Coulibaly & Sadiq have still to be given game time
