It’s a shite way of saying if he plays enough games the loan fee will be waived. It’s not forcing us to play him because of financial punishment.

He made a few appearances for Bristol City last year they didn't think he was good enough to play and they are getting fines of 500k that is ludicrous.

Their form slumped and he seems to have got the blame. Lee Johnson was actually full of praise for him and believes it was more a case of how he never quite fitted in with a tight knit squad than any lack of ability.

Rangers sign a promising young talent from Liverpool and this is the story the newspapers go with?  I don't remember similar headlines when celtic signed Musonda and apparently lost a lot of money on that deal.

It’s not the headline

Doesn't really matter he could come here be shit and we will play him to avoid the fines. weird one for me.

not really for or against fines....but why go out on loan if you end up on the bench?

the idea of a loan is to get experience and game time. The problem is when the player goes to a team that is too high above his level of skill.

Its not a fine, instead of us paying a loan fee up front we'll only pay it if he doesn't play enough.

Basically liverpool are saying "develop kent by playing him we wont charge you, dont develop him and the fee stands"

Which is a helluva lot better than the tarriers spending millions on their loans to not play them

I'm not interested in what the filth do I just feel its a thing you'd expect from a small club not a club like Rangers what are we to be a development team for future Liverpool players.

This is the reality of football as it is now.  We need creative attacking players but we don't have the many millions of pounds to spend on transfer fees so loans are the best we can do for now.  If the youth academy was producing there would be no need for this.  We see Middleton coming through but more is needed.  Kent and Ejaria will have a significant market value but we're getting them on the cheap by loaning them short-term which could work out great if they perform to a high standard.

The run up to the last 3 Old Firm games we’ve conveniently seen 3 different players coming out claiming the sectarianism by Rangers fans was horrendous. Even Didier Agathe saying he had to take an armoured car to training, move house 9 times and people shouted “agathe loves curry” at him in matches

the short sightedness of clubs up here caused this. kicking us out the league and sacking sky for setanta fucked our game

we have one of the most marketable fixtures in world football but get less tv cash than Denmark ,similar population. but no fixture of any interest
