In my head this kind of fine is the only reason that Russell Martin managed to clock up as many appearances for us despite being absolutely dire. jbm26896 995
Pretty standard terms on a loan deal with top clubs in England . The want there players to play a certain amount of games so they put in a clause saying so , dont really get the issue here.

Misteral 2,932
Why is there talk about fines? A loan fee is agreed between the clubs and is to be paid by the agreed date. The fee may be waived if the player makes x number of appearances. None of this relates to penalties or fines for a breach of a term of the contract. willygers4life, OhW and Courtyard Bear

If he's shite we'll have to pay the fee we would have to for any other loan signing, if he's good we'll be getting a decent addition for free Nothing to moan about here at all You would think so wouldn’t you. ?? Sadly some on here fall for it hook line and sinker. just like the taig press make it look like we are the only club to use director loans for funding, when in reality probably 50pc plus have this arrangement .including the taigs ,Chelsea, Newcastle, Liverpool etc And we are the only club that ever had a tax avoidance scheme .when probably 100pc of clubs have some way of reducing tax liability in fact I remember Nuremburg waxing lyrical about the taigs complex corporate structure was a tax reducing enterprise and part of their excellent financial structure Courtyard Bear
