Wouldn’t argue with that on tonight’s performance, the only reason I commented on him due to my dislike of the boy, is because he scored a lot of goals last year. positive spin is somebody else is gonna score a lot of goals playing in his spot. rabc10000

BlueKnight87 17,242
Heard the confirmation on the way to the game. I'm very happy he's no longer our problem. 2.5m and a sell on clause is not bad business. Watching the game tonight, I was saying to friends if windass was playing he would have easily gone missing again. There was a talent there but he never had the application or the desire to work for me. Gerrard has spotted this, hence why he hit the bench so quickly. Let's use this fee to add more quailty to the side.
Prso's headband 34,991
Jersey too heavy for him. Thinks he’s better than what he is, the fee is rubbish and he’s already started his shite calling our fans deluded when they wished him well but said the jersey was just too heavy for him. He’s the pricks prick. delparlane

Drunk and disorderly. 14,208
Good luck to the lad. He has talent but was rather hit and miss. Lacks the mental aptitude required to focus for a whole 90 minutes. A good guy to bring on from the bench but nothing more. Teamgers 1,214
I hope he does well, ok he was never a Rangers player, too lazy when it really mattered, but he scored a few decent goals and had a hand in some assists, he might just fit in well at Wigan. Mr Soprano 13,964
I’d have liked to have seen him up top or playing as a supporting striker, but probably best for all parties tbh. All the best. Sparkle and Supersonic

james_85 656
Wants to be a number 9. He's a fucking joke. Glad he won't get to play for us again. Sell on clauses are only good if he can move on. I think he will get found out very quickly down there

Blackandra 732
Had his big chance and blew it as far as I'm concerned. Josh Windass's biggest problem is Josh Windass. True Hair Bear
stewaj3 1,444
For me it's been summed up already, everyone to a man has stepped up in the games under Gerrard thus far. No passengers. Windass ran his socks off against Aberdeen, but I wouldn't trust him to do it throughout the season. The question I have now is who steps up and scores the goals that he scored. That's the challenge for the team. Windass had some really good moments last season and some really poor ones too. At Wigan I expect he will stand out as the pressure is less, but it should mean we benefit from the sell on clause that's been mentioned. I don't think we can afford passengers and windass was guilty of being one fairly often. Hopefully the cash is reinvested in a player who offers more.
