The silence from the club on this is shameful.

It's very likely the silence from the club is being legally enforced, it's not as if Ashley (or SD) haven't got previous for placing gagging orders on thier dealings with us.

The club are usually not to bad at leaking to the Sun or Rangers Observer though..

They could slip something out via a source as a heads up of some description.

To be a bit fair, it's hardly the club's fault that somebody started a rumour on Twitter and then some forum dafties have decided to run with it.

Its the Clubs fault they cannot read over a contract though I'd have thought.

Aye, but it's not really their fault that the kit wasn't released on a date that originated from a random bloke on Twitter.

The year we released an orange kit but didn't really

That's because its Mandarin.

Rangers Football Club are today delighted to launch the new Hummel home, away, third and goalkeeper kits for season 2018/19.

The new Rangers home kit, the first design by new technical kit supplier Hummel, will be worn by the team for the first time on Friday night for the friendly match against Bury.

The home kit jersey will be the traditional Royal Blue colour way with side panels carrying four iconic Hummel chevrons to each side of the jersey.

Made from Hummel’s BeeCool performance sports fabric, this classically styled jersey is designed to aid the players in achieving maximum performance on the field, with the jersey’s dark blue vented mesh panels helping to regulate player temperature throughout the game.

The Rangers crest on the left chest, as worn, is white raised rubber.

The hem of the jersey has red tipping to both sides and this compliments the white under sleeve insert panel and red detailing on the set-in sleeves. The jersey has a sculptured sports neck line with v-cut inset and a red tipped collar trim.

The home shorts will be white with two Royal Blue chevrons down the sides and red tipping to the hem. The Rangers crest on the front right panel is again in white raised rubber. The shorts have vented mesh paneling for additional player comfort.

The home socks will be black with a red turnover top, the socks have Hummel chevrons in red to the front and the Rangers crest knitted into the sock calf.

The stunning new away jersey for Season 2018/19 is white, with a red and Royal Blue diagonal stripe design across the front of the jersey. The jersey has four Hummel chevrons on each sleeve and is finished with red tipping to the raglan sleeves.

The away shorts are Royal Blue with two white Hummel chevrons on each side and a raised rubber Rangers crest to the front right side.

The socks are white with a red trim with the Rangers crest knitted into the calf in red.

Rangers Managing Director, Stewart Robertson said: “We are delighted to showcase our new strips for next season from Hummel and we are sure our supporters will love their design.

“We will have more news for supporters on the dates the kits will be available for sale soon.

“Everyone involved in the process is pulling out all the stops with a view to having them available for sale by the start of the new Ladbrokes Premiership season.”

Rangers can also confirm the third kit will be available from October and will be Mandarin Orange and Royal Blue.

The Mandarin Orange jersey with matching side panels is finished off with Royal Blue Hummel chevrons and the neckline with Royal Blue rib inserts to the front and back off the neck.

The third kit shorts will be Mandarin Orange with two Royal Blue diagonal chevrons to the short sides. The socks are Mandarin Orange with a Royal Blue turnover top, again with the Rangers crest knitted into the sock calf in Royal Blue.

There will be three goalkeeper kits this season in Black, Firecracker and Yellow-Black.
