We have beem solid up untill this game They bullied us again, after being told we wouldnt be bullied. That was their fist point of the season. Team of hammerthrowers and we played into their hands. Were no where near good enough second half. No idea why all three subs are not being used every game with the schedule we have. Wallace waiting to come on for 5 mins. Ball goes out im well half the change shpuld be then! Poor managment today. Players were out muscled and lets face it well looked only team going to score second half. We clearly had more quality on the pitch (upfront), but feck, defensively was a shocker. First goal was a gift presented on a platter. If Wallace is fit, even do a straight swap there if there was a need to take him off (injury, etc). Gutted to have walked out with the draw, but we can live with it - no injuries, no cards, and I'm confident that Gerrard will learn from the sub too. Invited all that pressure on to us in the second half, hardly strung any passes together or controlled the play. Looked a tired team and defensively didn't stand up to the long ball and physical shite. Credit to them for going to the end but that's dropped points to teams we shouldn't. In fairness to Gerrard he was absolutely screaming at the team to push up just before the corner... Feel gutted. They were pushing forward and we couldn't hit on the break. Ref had a poor game, but they were way more amped and up for the game than we were.
