Popular Post Helicopter Sundae 5,915
Last weekend, Motherwell away, late sucker punch. Performance to be proud of, given they are still gelling as a team. UFA away....what the fuck can you say? Stunning backs to the wall effort with a wonder-save from McGregor. Followed by a long flight home. Today. Hangover. Poor, but if I was Gerrard, I would tell them to let those wankers have their day in the sun, we'll be back. They still have to come to ours with a handful of support...let's see how the cunts cope then!!! As for the here and now, I would cut out the hysterical shite.....this is a marathon, not a sprint. Today was a write-off, with few bonus points. But we all knew that trip to deepest Russia might knacker them and it certainly did. NO SURRENDER! Don81 2,832
Agreed , think Russia did take a lot out of the players. Ejaria and Kent especially looked jaded. My main worry is the last minute goal thing is becoming a habit. We can't do it and expect to challenge.

Ben10 2,194
Any Rangers fan that has the daggers out for our management is a traitor. We're blessed to have Gerrard. And we're doubly blessed with the progress we have made in a short period. Feeling disappointed is one thing, but to use that to try and undermine the Manager is fucking filthy. Im happy. We will rattle them at Ibrox whether its another taig official or not.

ritchieshearercaldow 22,011
Too early in the season but on that performance today we have a long way too go. I said before the game that I would be happy if we lost but put up a good performance, the last part didn’t happen. Goianegra 4,647
Unfortunately, tiredness was always going to be an issue after Thursday. I'm not going to defend today but I don't think it's an indicator as to how the season will go and its not as much of a disaster as some are making out. JukeBoxJohn 3,060
5 points from 12 is fuck all to be proud of. A piss poor performance yet again against them is nothing to be proud of either. Domestically it's a shocking start from us, Europa league run is the only feel good factor around the place at the moment. simplythebest 11,453
Think too many are tying themselves into the idea of the UFA game making today impossible It was always going to make the game that bit tougher of course but we all know the tarriers have demonstrated the last year or so they aren't as good as the hype would have you believe, it can't excuse it looking like we were leagues apart in the first half, when we were forced to press for an equaliser we saw their vulnerabilities but the damage had been done HG5, Zappa6995 and delparlane

By winning another treble? Or are you referring to Europe where they got put out by AEK, a team far better than us? It’s a bullshit myth propagated by those with blue tinted glasses. They are a good team. The best in Scotland. They have a good manager. The best in Scotland. They have a good squad. The best in Scotland. We need to be absolutely 100% on it to beat them, especially in their own dump. 2 days after playing in Russia with 9 men probably meant we were more around 70% today. the brown brogue 1,853
The 2nd half at Motherwell and 1st half today are as poor and negative 90 minutes as you're likely to see. We now have the international break for the Manager to work on a system and style of play thats going to bring us positive results away from home against domestic opposition. I can accept us playing for scrappy draws in the Europa League but doing that in Scotland won't get us very far at all. At this stage I'd describe us as a workmanlike side sorely lacking in flair and 'game changing' quality, we'll learn a lot about the Manager and the new players by how they react to that toothless performance today.
