A test of mettle right from the start.   SG will have warned them about this.   So its all about how they react and fight back.   The test will stand them good over the course of the season.   Early yet in this game though.  Lets see what sort of resolve and inspiration they can muster.    

As for McCoist's comments.  He could never have got Rangers anywhere near playing European football at this level.  He just wasn't anywhere good enough managerial material so his comments are quite a bit devalued in my book.
