Usually there are players that you’d only like if they were playing for you, like a Jason Cummings, but Windass handled himself with arrogance that he was bigger than the club. He didn’t get it, and he therefore never got the connection with the fans that he could have. With a different attitude he’d have been an asset, but he was too busy conducting his own hype train.
