I reckon Mr Gerrard has every ounce of respect and admiration for Ally McCoist the player.    Which of us would not have that admiration?   But I really do not think Mr Gerrard will be taking too much notice of the advice or analysis of Ally McCoist the pundit and former manager.     In managerial terms McCoist talks a game of sorts and would be nowhere near able to produce a Rangers side capable of these sorts of European results.  But Gerrard doesn't just talk the game - he walks it, he lives it, he devours the challenge, he inspires.    One is full of talk these days and the other is full of action to make successful football happen.

Well said Sir

Don't mind Ally the pundit, can think of a lot worse.

He might have failed as a manager but to be fair to him he has a wealth of experience from playing for us in Europe and from being Walter's number 2. He was rightly frustrated with the first half performance but he was full of praise by the end of the game.

a guy that blew a 2 goal lead at alloa trying to tell a guy who got his side back from.a goal down twice at villareal what to do

He said they need to press harder, be more aggressive, play of the front foot and show them less respect and in the second half that’s what we did! But better to have a go at Ally after all we got a good result so the moaning gits like yourself need something to moan about!

To be fair we probably didn't but does he need to mention it, surely he should be delighted that we had equalised

Exactly, why just be happy we had scored.

He was more enthusiastic about telling us what went wrong for their second.
