imagine what the half-time team talk will do to the team if he does that.

He said in an early game that he didnt want to always give a half time bollocking...

But that's about 5 games at least we have came out better second half and he must have done that.

It is frustrating for fans... fuck knows what it is like for Gerrard.

The team just didn’t believe they were good enough in the first half which isn’t good enough in itself.

They should’ve came out bursting with pride, hearing our fans over a half empty shitehole and thought we could’ve done them

I'm wondering if it's part of SG's plans in the bigger games and when we have a busy schedule .

He seems to be happy soaking up the pressure in the first half , preserve energy , hope the opposition start to lose heart and then go for it in the 2nd . It's not the first time we've done this .

Even under Walter we were shite most first half.

If only we could start games properly.

Valid point. SWS played 1 up front away too. Showing my age here, but SG is installing a no surrender attitude that has been amiss since Walter.

Not saying SG can match Sir Walter as a manager,  but they both have a fantastic love for football and truly despise losing.

They both have winning in their DNA.
