I just glad we have the first time slot so that we don't have to play on a messed up pitch. I agree carnage could await. I am also concerned about the provisions for our fans safety, which is why I asked would there be a police escort to and from the game.

The only police escort for Rangers fans will involve cuffs and batons, then a police doctor to say the recipients of the beatings are fit to questioned them charged for kicking over sandcastles and throwing bottles at the children among the Aberdeen support.

The taigs will off course have staked out every set of lights leading up to hampden and will have a handy supply of empty bottles and of course plod won't be paying them any heed because they're just there for the craic, the crack of a bottle off a Rangers fan's head.

In 10 years time they will be calling this black Sunday.

You can hardly say “black” in relation to anything nowadays, you’ll sure as fuck not be able to say “black” anything in a decades time

C’mon bears, lets win this cup for Tommy!

so the fenians get an additional 8 hours recovery time after the Thurs game

It’s not to give them more recovery time, it’s catering to their religious beliefs that’s all. As everyone knows their fans are obsessed with religion so they’ll all be in the chapels the length and breadth of the country Sunday morn

Fuck Aberdeen. Part of being a football fan is travelling at all hours to all kinds of places to support your team.

If they need any advice on this ask the bears who have plotted their way through Europa League qualifiers around remote parts of the Balkans and beyond...with no complaints. Its called being a Supporter.

Girodome Statement

We applaud the decision regarding the scheduling of the semi finals.  This will allow us to maximise our period of recuperation following The Europa Cup.

We recognise that our team has not been performing to the standards we would expect and welcome the opportunity to play on a ploughed midden.

We note safety concerns raised in some quarters, and are reassured that Polis Scotland are confident that they will be able to deal with the legions of sevco fans who will have been on the lash since the break of dawn,  and who will undoubtedly seek to engage in a disparaging way with the fans attending the second semi final.  We understand that charge sheets for sevco fans are being prepared.

I can see these games being played behind closed doors at the last minute, if the police don't have a solution.

You on drugs or is it cause you have a conspiracy handbook. Every post you make is asking questions rather than go out and source your own info.

Why not contact police Scotland and ask how they plan to manage the two games, then relay the info here

Sheep making more sense than Police Scotland.

It's amazing that the majority of the fans of all four teams think this is a dumb idea. How then can the SFA/SPFL and the Police think this is a good idea?

I'm staying in the house that day,  I have no interest in getting bottled or stabbed.
