Yup. Those other players were faultless out there. Stevie G was shocking at defending their corner and his passing was abysmal.

Great post.

Fuck up. He sent the team out with a striker who's played fuck all football.

The wingers had no idea the runs he's gonna make and played crosses too early

Midfield powferpuff.

We're nowhere nearer able to name our best 11 as we where on day one of the season, squad rotation because of Europe has been the excuse but we desperately need to decide on our best 11 and get them on the park more often.

This would most definitely help. Start by dropping Worrall for Katic and stick with him.

Who would you have played up front?  We had no other striking option.

The buck stop with the manager but the players must take some of the blame for the scoreline.

We are a work in progress, central midfield needs a creative outlet and we need another striker who can actually play football.

The sheep shaggers were there for the taking, much the same as the Livingston game in the league and just like that game we lacked the killer ball and gile in the final 3rd and lost another shite goal from a set piece against the run of play.

There needs to be movement in the January window (preferably starting with sadiq being posted back to Rome) and I’m pretty confident our manager and his staff are well aware of this.

Agree about the creative midfielder, think we all see that.  What I find baffling is that a midfield who pressed at 100 mph versus Rapid cannot reach the same level against a mediocre Aberdeen side, in fact we're lucky if we reached 30 percent of that level today.  Only difference in manpower was Jack in place of Arfield.

said in another topic - its a collective failure from the manager right through the team for that today - and the manager has his fair share of the responsibility for that failure. That's the name of the game.

It certainly is a failure from all concerned C. Also a wee merge of these threads would be damned decent of you.

He's no a captain

That's your opinion, fair enough.

I don't see who else he could have picked at the start of the season.

I think Shagger will end up captain again at some point.

Tav has been one of our top players this season.   He deserves the captains armband IMO.

No chance good player but nowhere near a captain. Not a lead by example type at all and that’s what we need.
