As the title suggests

aberdeen (a) couple of mins to go we have 10 men , their punting high balls in the box big Sadiq is sitting on the bench, could he not have thrown him on in defence to see the game out? ( not saying in hindsight ,was at the game and said this)

motherwell (a) 3 2 up 30 secs to go he brings on Lee Wallace when they have a corner why? Also experimented with3 at the back for some unknown reason .

scum (a) played Lafferty and Morelos together , doesn't work

livi (a) played Lafferty and Morelos together ,doesn't work, left Kent and Middleton on the bench ,drafted worrell in out of the blue

that and his substitutions which usually involve bringing of one of our best players off for a lesser one, or when it's too late to do anything ( like Middleton against Spartak in 84 mins what was that all about? Give them time to at least get into the game)

It's all fair points to be fair

I wish the players would stop prancing n diving around like little ponies in the opposition box ,seems to be a common theme, gerrard needs to give players kick up the arse.Or is the manager whos giving out these instructions?

Quite a nonsense thread

what had Sadiq done to warrant any faith - Especially by the dons game?

Whats wrong with bringing in leee Wallace? Ffs!

lafferty and Morelas have done ok together - it’s jyst nonsense to say it doesn’t work.

Worrel has not looked out of place.

basically this is just a thread of hindsight manager about the games we lost / dropped points in and yet even with. Hindsight you make poor points.

It wasn't bringing on Wallace that was the problem it was making a sub when defending a set piece, that's ridiculous. And when have Morelos and Lafferty done well together

Isn’t it funny how folk forget the games we win when we lose one - still better to have a dig than look for positives.

So what was the positive from Sunday? McCoist would still be manager and trying to get us out of championship if you had your way.

Positives - we were in a semi final ( but lost) to a single set piece in a game we dominated - on a different day we win - but it’s about what we do and the journey we are on.

this thread ONLY looks at negatives and even then is only second guessing what could have been AND only with hindsight - always easier with hindsight!

Thinking that being in a cup semi-final in Scotland is a positive is stretching it. Especially since we lost it.

A sign of your lower expectations and standards for our club.

I have high expectations that will only be realised through time - retrospective whinging and moaning about individual games and disguising it as some sort of ‘standard’ is one of the things holding back our club. Threads that provide negativity without the context of the journey are just counter productive in my view, especially ones that try to be Monday morning managers.

Telling someone what they did wrong, with the benefit of hindsight, is the easiest thing in the world.

Aye, but he offset that by racking his brain to come up with the least obvious solution in the world.

Personally I’d have opted for McCrorie who played centre half the season before but hey, let’s play an unknown quantity with the smallest head ever to pull on a Rangers shirt.
