Obviously has/had his problems but what I do remember from him was his ability to get into good positions in the box and lose markers. Wonder if Gerrard has ever thought about him or spoke with him. Even against the sheep we had Coulibaly miss a sitter from a yard out and sadiq with his penalty shite when it was easier to score. Yesterday Goldson missed a sitter of a header and then we had the big stramash where basically everybody missed. I think we are still creating chances (not a huge amount but when we do create them, they are sitters) but we could be doing with scoring them more often. I'm not advocating bringing Pena back in, but you can say what you like about him - he was absolutely deadly in the box. I’ve no idea what Pena is doing now but if he’s sorted himself out and is performing again then I’d hope Gerrard would take another look at him.
