Probably not worth the cost in stewardship, policing and catering etc.

The B Team lost 3-2 to a Rangers XI at Ibrox Stadium on Sunday morning, 4 November. Jan Zamburek and a Trialist netted for The Bees, while Patrik Gunnarsson saved a penalty at the other end. The home side, which included several players from the Rangers First Team, worked their first chance within the opening five minutes. A low cross from Jordan Rossiter was cleared away by Luka Racic in the middle of the box. After 8 minutes, Brentford could have created a chance of their own when Cole Dasilva looked to cross from the left side. The referee had waved a good advantage after Zamburek had been fouled on the break. When the cross came in it was deflected and landed in the arms of goalkeeper Robby McCrorie. The Bees took the lead just 60 seconds later. A poor pass from LeeWallace was intercepted by Joe Hardy. The striker took it into the box off a neat one-two with Zamburek. The Czech youth international was then the square pass for Hardy, and when found was able to curl his shot into the top corner to break the deadlock. With just over quarter of an hour gone, Rangers were back in the game. Gunnarsson rolled the ball to Racic, who was immediately under pressure. His clearance out of danger was blocked by Stephen Kelly, who then collected a pass from Andy Dallas and slotted home from close range. After 20 minutes, Serge Atakayi drove to the byline and cut the ball back into the box from the right wing. It found Kelly again to drill home his shot into the bottom corner of the net. Rangers took the lead. Atakayi had his own chance a few minutes later when he collected on the ball on the edge of the box. Kelly hadn't connected with a shot on the left side properly but it rolled through to the winger, who took aim and shot at goal. Gunnarsson managed to get his left hand to the ball and then dive on it as it bounced back up at him. With 28 minutes gone, Brentford had the ball in the net again. This time it was ruled out for offside. Reece Cole had driven a ball across the box from the right side, for Zamburek to sweep home at the far post. It looked extremely tight, but the assistant raised his flag and the goal was disallowed. Rangers finished the half strongly, getting a few long distance efforts on goal but couldn't increase their advantage. At the break, Brentford looked like they might get back on level terms. Within moments of the restart, Rangers had a golden chance to make it three. A deep cross from the left was missed by Gunnarsson but thankfully Dasilva was following up behind him. The fullback swept the ball away for a corner with an attacker lurking nearby. Then the home side were awarded a penalty. Glenn Middleton turned his marker on the edge of the box and ran at goal. Zamburek dived in to try and stop the break but missed the ball completely, bringing down the man instead. Kelly took the kick, on his hat-trick, which Gunnarsson parried away. The danger wasn't over though. Charlie Oliver made a great block to deny Kelly an easy rebound, then Nikolaj Kirk came in to clear the ball away from Dallas on the rebound. Middleton thought he had been fouled again a few minutes later, going down in the box under a challenge from Racic. This time the referee waved play on as the Rangers winger held his arms aloft in protest. Gunnarsson showed bravery to dive at the feet of both Kirk and Kelly after 58 minutes. Atakayi crossed low from the right and the keeper, expecting contact, threw himself among the legs arriving in the centre. He took a knock and needed a good few minutes of treatment before the game resumed. With nine minutes to go, Brentford equalised. Hardy crossed from the right after neat play between himself and Kolbeinn Finnsson, then the Trialist nodded home in the middle. 2-2. The same Trialist broke down the left wing for a three-on-two play with 83 on the clock. His pass to Ali Coote wasn't placed well enough to find the captain though and it ran wide. Coote did well in the end to rescue a corner. Had the ball been played through, it was a one-on-one with McCrorie. From the set piece that followed, Brentford went really close to taking the lead. A low cross fizzed across the face of goal, with Hardy missing it by inches. At the far post it was blasted away by Nikola Katic. Then Rangers struck the final blow. The first corner routine ended in Katic nodding the ball wide under pressure from sub Jarvis Edobor. The referee awarded the home side a corner, must to the chagrin of those in red and white. From the second corner, Katic again nodded it towards goal. The ball looped between Oliver and Racic, falling to substitute Dapo Mebude to sweep home from close range. Brentford B: Gunnarsson; Dasilva, Racic (sub Edobor 76), Oliver, Kirk; Carroll (sub Trialist-FW 76), Cole (sub Titov 69), Zamburek; Finnsson, Hardy, Coote Subs (not used): Andersson, Trialist-CB, Johansson Rangers XI: McCrorie; Houston, Katic, McAuley, Wallace; McCrorie, Rossiter (sub Palmer 74); Atakayi, Kelly, Middleton (sub Shiels 65); Dallas (sub Mebude 65) Subs (not used): Finlayson, McPake, Mayo, McAdams

BlueMe 25,327
Sadiq can't even make the bench for the B team ffs. Unless he injured himself when he dived, and that's the reason he's not included. Hope he's ok.
LegendofCoop 17,148
Reads like it was written by a 12 year old. "At the break, Brentford looked like they might get back on level terms.". Someone's made a Titov themselves.
