Popular Post MrMckee 3,397
Was with my grandad yesterday at the ripe old age of 94 has a few stories to tell. Had a brother a few years older who was blown up in a tank. Mad to think he is still alive more than 70 years after his brother. Lest we forget. Popular Post Bears r us 30,561
Watching the service and now the march past at the cenotaph as we do every year. It just makes you so proud to be British, as a country no one can do military based parades like we do. I must admit at times a lump comes in the throat especially when ex service members are interviewed. This year being 100 years will certainly be special at Ibrox today when we have the chance to remember. Lest we forget. BILLYBOY50 1,638
Working up north and just attended the memorial parade and service in dingwall it was very moving. And what a great turnout for such a horrible day. Singing the lords my Shepard and god save the queen at the end with everyone joining in. And the sound of the last post was haunting Lest we forget.
