BlueAvenger 10,209
A stupid and unnecessary fuckin foul that could have cost us 3points and being top of the table. Think he misses Wed night against the sheep when we would have needed him. Fuckin ridiculous
the brown brogue 1,909
Would need to see it again but I thought the keeper lost control of the ball then put one then two hands on the ball as Arfield slid in. Unfortunately though, if our players give the referee any reason to flash a red card it's clear this season they will do so when other teams would not be treated as harshly and that's something the players are really going to have to remember. Nevertheless it was an outstanding result, we never really liked in any danger once we went in front and actually looked as comfortable, maybe even more so, with 10 men than 11. cascadeshrimp

kaiser1041 9,088
It’s red all day long and a daft decision by arfeild but it’s a blip in good start from him and we got away with it
ianferguson 2,619
Never a red card and he also lost his footing. Yeah he makes the wrong call to go in but not a red if he's wearing maroon imo. whatnobeer
TopCat 4,511
It was a red card all day long but we got away with the 3 points so no harm done. We move on.

And fuck your comment, I'd have been chasing that ball like a steam train too. U too would have been in the bath like Arfield. Praying your team mates who just played in Europe with ten men hold on. Really stupid from an intelligent experinced player. Keeper has both hands on it.

Bottom line there is we shouldn’t have to adjust the way we play because Refs can’t wait to get the Red out. RowX 146
Red for me no complaints...but I’d want my players going for that if I was the manager. take it on the chin.. move on

King Jela 20,360
Stupid decision, the keeper clearly had both hands on it and he had more than enough time to stop himself. Although what a team effort after it. I could barely watch stoppage time but fucking top of the league anyway 🔴⚪️🔵 sandyinroyalblue

Also it doesn’t appear it should be Red Card, he doesn’t go in studs up or even with his feet off the ground he goes in with his knees. Yellow for me. I went from wtf was he doing to thinking a yellow would have been the right decision. Probably one that we will still all be arguing about until the game on Wed. Personally since we have got away with it result wise, I really could not care less. cstamomusa and Bobby Hume

TEFTONG 60,076
If it happens to Shagger today the ref gives a yellow... Arfield made a split second decision to try and win the game and doesn't go in studs up. it's a yellow except it's a Rangers player...so it's an automatic red. some folk on here are at it. Seems the banter years has been too much for them... so apologetic and willing to abuse a Rangers player trying to win the fucking game... mitre_mouldmaster 21,509
Yellow card for me. Appeal it and we win I think. Plus if we appeal, should mean he is available for Wed. Bobby Hume, Courtyard Bear and cascadeshrimp
Cadman 342
I don't think it was a red. It was a stupid tackle, fair enough, but it wasn't malicious and the ball was on the ground so it was fair game to go for it. In my opinion it was a yellow and nothing more. Definitely, and when the ref expert at Hampden says it was only a yellow, we should put a case forward.
