I Told You So

Exactly. It was said by most that as long as we're within touching distance of the taigs by the January window then it would be pretty good considering we've had 1 transfer window to get in so many new players and get them winning games when they've had the same squad for the last couple of years

That we're a work in progress.

December was always going to be a hard month.

We'll struggle without Morelos.

Midfield and up top badly need an injection of quality, and it will be dealt with in January.

Nothing is won or lost December.

Get a grip.

Most sensible post on the whole of RM today

So as we're a 'work in progess' we just ignore we failed to beat the second worst side in the league who had 20 men for 60 mins or so.

Could buy into this if it was against the scum or after a few wins on the trot but the timing is laughable and now its the go to excuse!

No we don't ignore it, but we don't base our opinions of the team and what they are capable of based on that game either.

Our form has dipped over the last couple of ames, but we just fought our way to the top of the table, we can do it again. January is masive for us.  A creative idfielder needs brought in at all costs.

spot on.  He has had one window, and has us sitting withing touching distance of th top of the table.   We are lucky that they are having a mare also.

We will get better,  we can moan all we want but until he can bring in more quality, then I don't think we are doing to badly.

Could be way better, and the last couple of games have been patheti.

I wouldn’t be going wild in January. A CM and maybe a striker. The base of the team that will still be here next season katic, barasic, Middleton etc need a consistent run from January onwards. Loan signings should be more bit part as much as practical.

to build for next season we cannot lose 3/4 loan players and expect consistency start of next season.

Only quality additions. One or two a window.

I don't think we need to go wild.  We need a number 10 and probably another striking option.

Anything else would be a bonus.

Thing is mate we threw away quite a few other points prior to November as well as a league cup semi. These two games aren't the first bad signs

Aye cause no team has ever came back from being 2 points behind in the league at the start of December......

Way some folk talk you'd think we were back to losing to Raith in the final of some diddy cup, and not 1 game away from European football after Christmas. Shite results will happen, but this is the best position we've been in during December in a very long time. It'll all come together eventually, just need patience.

How long does he get?

How many 'wrong results' is he allowed?

Appointing Gerrard was always going to be a risk, calculated or not - but we can't keep making excuses for him - his honeymoon period has to end soon.

What's the normal threshold for a sacking?
