One wee bit of quality when it mattered and that was that. The travelling Bears were first class (as always) but the sad truth is we just didn't deserve anything out the game. The run in Europe was more than could have been expected so you've got to say fair enough. But tonight showed what the league has been showing time and again and I'm fed up trying to convince myself Gerrard has a plan that's working. The simple fact is that we are sorely lacking the quality in the spine of the team to see off 10-man Dundee let alone a bang average sheep team (and fucking forget about challenging the scum). I'm no fucking defeatist but I'm already resigned to another loss on the 29th. If we don't bring in proven decent quality then this current chapter with Gerrard will be another dead end and we will be no further forward. And have nowhere better to go. King absolutely MUST make funds available to give SG any chance to make this work imo. Without money being spent 2nd place is all we can aim for which has NEVER been good enough for Rangers. Teams are learning to double up on us on the wings and we cant do shit. Need someone to either drive from the center and have a shot or pick a killer through ball. Having only one tactic of passing it out and crossing it in is not working, but we dont have the players to do anything else. Im happy with the European run, a good showing in the Scottish Cup and a 2nd place finish is okay with me. Not great but a move in the right direction. Needs completing. yeah that's fair enough mate. i'm just very frustrated that with all the changes made it's starting to look once again like progress is minimal. Pace on it's own is a good thing to have when you're a defensive team and need an outball to get you up the pitch, but it's useless against teams who play with every man behind the ball.
