How much of the soap dodgers good home form is down to their new hybrid pitch?

No one has mentioned this but it makes sense if they have a pitch that no one else has seen before it will help them ... and even though this season their away form has dipped if anything the home form has improved.

Quality and size of pitch is absolutely massive in football. Would be ridiculous but our best chance of winning tomorrow would be shortening and narrowing the pitch and getting right on top of them like Hibs/Hearts etc have done.

Surely mixing of grass and synthetic must make a big difference to how the pitch plays?
