He was brilliant. I've been really impressed with how he has gone about things since he's returned to the team. His reading of the game, ability to break up the play and just winning everything was a joy to watch. An animal as the gaffer put it. He was really good.

For a 20 year old to be in and out the team/squad, on the bench, not getting a game, he showed he can be thrown in and be trusted to do the job asked. Thought he was brilliant today at breaking the play up and then passing to get us going. He’s a valuable squad player just now but should progress and get better.

I really like McCrorie and when he's holding in midfield it gives Ryan Jack more licence to take a more positive role in the team.

He has a lot more energy than the others in midfield IMO. Passing is generally off against the lesser teams when a defensive mid needs to do a bit more but against them this season and last he's been great.
