When he broken into the first team they put it up to £100 a week. He played 13 games and then was sold to Aberdeen and Accies wanted £750k development fee and had only paid the boy £1300 plus what ever as an apprentice. What Hamilton, the smallest club in the league along with Livingston, pay their youths isn't comparable to what Kilmarnock pay their top players. All too often these teams unearth gems and get fuck all for them as they are away back down south after a year on a bosman or 200k or so . Not that we need help but them potentially losing Stewart ain't a bad thing as we're playing them soon, especially after trying to alienate Jones.
