Almost two weeks after the final whistle went on the last Old Firm game of 2018, it is incredible to think that we're still talking about the referee.

The manufactured outrage over John Beaton's apparent leniency towards Alfredo Morelos is beyond a joke and you need to question the motives behind some of it.

There's no anti-celtic bias; no 'Operation Stop the Ten' and no grand conspiracy against the team that have won the last seven titles on the spin.

There was an opportunity to ask why Lego muncher had three different incidents during that game where the compliance officer could have been cited as the ref took no action against him, the tackle on Candieas, the back heel on Freddo and the elbow on Arfield

Why have the press chose to ignore this and focus fully on Morelos ?

I know they have their lickspittles in the media but surely someone somewhere could have brought these incidents up

and highlighted them, asking the same questions that they have asked

I've never really had a personal blog about football oddly. I'd been working on Battle Fever for a year and done stuff for Shoot! before that but neither really gave me much room to do opinion-based stuff where I could slate people - Shoot was geared towards kids and Battle Fever was more news/match reporting.

If you go back and rewatch the Sheep vs Rangers Jelavic winner in 2011 highlights, with sky commentary, there is a clear double stamp by that fuckin rat derek young on lee mcculloch that could have broken his back. Andy Walker, the ref, the liason official didnt even think it merited a replay let alone a review. 

Rangers got on with it, won the game and won the league. 

As soon as we look a match for them the establishment conspiracy rears its head, i would laugh it off if not for the fact weve seen how poisonous it can be-and how their hatred for us can manifest in their followers who mean us harm.
