Hard to feel aggrieved here. We're getting what we deserve.

It's been the same all season. Can't put teams away and Killie has played it down to a tee. Let us have the ball in our half to fanny around with it where we cant hurt them and they flood their half. Easy

Wasn’t the game to change it. It sounds stupid to say because he scored but Defoe (and Davis) should have started on the bench.

Change a winning team/system to accommodate big names isn’t the best path to go down IMO.

Spot on,  mistake from Gerrard tonight.

Love how these commentators are trying their best to make out that to lose tonight is basically throwing the title away.

It's not throwing the title away but we're essentially 6 behind the taigs now & even 2 behind Killie

It's pretty fucking bad

Davis was horrendous, offered nothing and looked poor. It’s abysmal decision making from gerrard

Just everything he’s done at Southampton for as long as I can remember

I can’t believe some thought this clown was some sort of creative force

That s every time we play on plastic pitches we are fucking scared this is a shadow of the fighting hard tackling team we had against the scum. This is another cowardly performance from them.fucking utter dross but Gerrard has to the blame for changing a winning team and formation. I'm fucking sick

Playing two new players who have something like 4 games between them this season, against one of the hardest working teams in the league has fucked us, the tactic change has fucked us, Worrall fucked us. Pick a first team and a formation like the one that beat the scum and we would have something to work with

SG has fucked himself trying to shoehorn them both in.

Harsh lesson learned there for him
