The media are losing their stranglehold they had on the referees and it’s causing the desperados like Sutton/ Stewart making absurd statements. S Gerrard has more clout than any of the biased Scottish football media commentators and the referees now realise that they must referee our games the same as they would as any others as stewart/Sutton’s comments that the obvious penalty wasn’t, no longer works. The club need to monitor all contact with the media and refuse to speak to certain ones. They just don’t get it, it’s about the rules and applying them impartially and with parity across the board with external influences having zero effect. We want matches and players refereed to a good, consistent and fair manner all the time.
