We should be up by a couple by now.  Don't think the formation works, as Morelos is spending most of the game on the wings.  I would take Morelos off now he's on a yellow card and bring on Candeias.  They'll be trying to wind up Morelos and he's a high risk for being sent off in the second half.

Dominant.  But not a dominant scoreline.  Its a 'just getting away with it' scoreline where one defensive error could render all the dominance utterly useless.    Dominance without being ruthless enough to score more goals is not really good enough.    Can't imagine Gerrard will be too happy with the team at half time.   Quite a big improvement is needed 2nd half.   That improvement being to create and take goal scoring chances.

Defoe, Morelos and Kent have been good. Defoe's link up play has been pretty good.

Davis and Arfield not done much. McCrorie has been solid. Still think we are just better in the midfield when Candeias is in there as it helps the balance of the team so would like him on for Arfield.

Not too worried, think we've been in total control and we're unlucky not to be a few ahead.

Can't blame Tav for missing 1 in about 15 penalties and Kent inches away.

On the replay it didn't look like a penalty and for a minute I thought the ref had changed his mind and was booking Defoe for diving

Arfield was driving forward at every opportunity.
