I'm a bit older, sadly.   Try growing up in the east end of Glasgow in the 50s and 60s with a double-barrelled name.  It certainly teaches you to take care of yourself.

You wouldn't be a distant relative of Andrew Bonar Law would you, former Prime Minister and Glasgow resident?

I remember the stick Rupert Miniwinkle-Floppycock used to get at Riverside Secondary in Dalmarnock late 60s.

Crying shame

Nope.  He didn't have a hyphen.  He was called Bonar as a first name instead of Andrew.
