Morelos incident

Why did madden put his card back in his pocket after sending McKenna off, and wait almost 2 mins before sending Morelos off?

He’s not meant to send a player off or book them when they are on the ground or receiving treatment. He has to wait until they are on their feet.

Can't see this being rescinded in all honesty.  Would be good if it was though.  Could be doing with it.

It was a bit of a strange game,  albeit the result for us was good minus that incident,  thankfully.  Saw something was going to happen eventually considering how the game was going.

I think we just have to accept that's how Alfredo is..

He's a Diego Costa,  di canio, louis Suarez type player .

On the edge all the time but is sublime at times ...a captain's job is to talk him down throughout the game when they see him starting to twitch .

This is the type of player that he is & we'll have to take the good with the bad. He scored 2 goals last night & got a red card that he deserved to get for petulance but helped us massively towards a win.

Is McKenna's kick out worse? Of course it is but you can't exactly get 2 red cards for something or more punishment, mid game anyway

Morelos is petulant, he doesn't "stamp" as the media outcry would suggest but he does leave the studs in on him which causes the whole thing to happen then rolls about the ground holding his face (the looking up to see if the ref is coming should be a giveaway to anybody)

Just need to take this 1 and accept he's going to be banned for a few games, unfortunate but that's the way it is.

If he doesn't roll about then he stays on the park, l like his aggression but not the play acting.

The way he rolled a few times and then peeked to make sure the referee was coming over before rolling again was really poor from him.

Stone  wall red card how many times it going to happing this season

Define why it was a red in terms of the current legislation of "excessive force or brutality"?

Seriously, not based on the scum narrative or what players used to get sent off for, what specifically did he do that met criteria for a red rather than yellow?

Actually think it was the assistant that got Alfredo the red card.

If you watch Madden, he has the red out right away and heading for McKenna until the assistant calls him over.

Yeah. No issues with a linesman getting involved when he's so close to it. Hate them not helping a ref when they're in the best position, some refs seem to like it this way so that it's all about them being in full control.

If you go by the letter of the law then it's a "stamp" by Morelos on McKenna's groin/stomach, he lifts his leg up to do it, was completley unnatural to which McKenna retaliates with a kick aimed towards his face which just about misses him.

Both kicks aren't exactly going to cause major damage but by the letter of the law, both are red cards since both are kick outs

I'll defend a Rangers player to the death but sometimes we've got to just accept when they've been idiots and move on, it was petulant and if McKenna hadn't kicked back at him we could've easily been 10vs11 last night.

There's absolutely no "stamp".
