De Valera was trying to play up to us too by occasionally "helping" the Northern Irish especially after the bombing of Belfast. The Germans actually never trusted the duplicitous cunts either and warned them off a few times by bombing them too. Ironically, if the Germans had won I think it likely Hitler would have done a deal with us regarding Ireland, rather than side with the De Valera's lot.
