Tactics and assistants

Even average players can be forged into a formidable team with the correct use of their strengths and coaches using the proper tactics to suit.

Two questions, Beale is a tactical genius who appears to be clueless or SG doesn't trust his advice, also what does GM bring to the table if anything.

SG really needs to seek out the advice of Wattie...and quickly.

If he needs to rely on the advice of his assistant manager and first team coach and seek the advice of a retired manager he shouldn't be the manager of Rangers Football Club.

We don’t seem to have any tactics

We chuck everyone even centre halves forward so our defensive line is sometimes even higher than the halfway line but we don’t actually attack so after we inevitably lose the ball by fucking about with no urgency we are wide open to get fucked on the counter

That’s 2 teams now in a row that have made no attempt to attack but have done us with goals on the counter

Tactics etc are a lot of shite. Aberdeen had ten men behind the ball. The only way to beat that is with genuine quality in the final third.

We dont have that. We are better against teams that attack us because we don’t have the quality to unlock a ‘good’ defensive team.

Fair fucks to Aberdeen as well, we might be shite but they can defend and McKenna is the best centre half in the country by a mile.
