***Official Rangers v Kilmarnock Thread***

Go with 3 forwards, no wingers. If Kent plays have him narrower. Kent/Lafferty Defoe Morelos. We don't have a creative midfield so let's do a Liverpool and play 3 actual strikers. Even Dapo or Middleton as the 3rd would be preferable to 4-5-1 again

If things go to something like what is now a bit of a trend at Rangers these days whoever is picked to play will have been briefed on the strengths and weaknesses of Kilmarnock, been provided with a game plan, reminded that its important to win and win will for the Support who turn up, and given an encouraging pep talk before the game.

They will then promptly set aside everything they have been told, do their own thing in their own way in their own pedantic time, as selfishly as possible then hope for the best and see how it turns out.    After the game SG will do a post match interview lamenting that this was not a real Rangers side but he takes responsibility, then finishes with hoping we can do a better job in the next game.

Or we might win and win well.

Maybe Gary McAllister MBE should take this game and let SG go off somewhere on a scouting mission, or just have a day off from the managerial frustrations he is experiencing with his team.

With the pressure off we'll probably win 4.0 then Dundee will hold the beggars on Sunday and our arse will flutter again.

If only mate😉

We aren't even in the same universe as Liverpool

Clarke will set his team up to defend in banks of 4 and 5, flood their defensive 3rd with bodies, look to hit on the break and try to frustrate us.

If we don't change things, or don't see them go down to 10 men, I fear we'll see more of the same.

Changes needed in personnel, attitude and style of play.

I'm driving up on Friday to be there for Saturday's game, so it's going to be a 5 nil victory.

Tbf, I think we may get a dodgy penalty, 5- 1 I'd say ?     ........

It's time to rest morelos, airfield and jack. Bring in lafferty and Defoe and make sure the tactics play to their strengths. Irony know whether to play mccrorie or davis in place of arfield but suspect davis is due a game.
