I used to get frustrated at our ex-players in the media, thinking that they must have simply felt the need to be “objective” once they had stopped playing, while their ex-players had no problem with nailing their colours to the mast, being openly anti-us and pro-them, because they’re bitter from the cradle to the grave.

However, I’ve since realised it’s really all about money, the narrative in the mhedia in general is “celtic good, Rangers bad” and if you don’t go along with that there’s not many jobs open to an ex-Ranger. They don’t want anyone speaking out against the way they want the public perception of us to be, especially someone articulate who could maybe make the gullible question the agenda.

In 2012 . The scum media had a choice . They have now made their bed with the bheasts and there is no going back

It is of course all political now . Rangers will always get 80% negative bad press than the scum will get 80% more favourable .

The only negative shite they get , will be when their beloved team gets pumped and they will be hurting

I think there are a few American lawyers setting up to fuck them like a priest with an alter boy.

ALEX RAE says Rangers must get “specialist help” for Alfredo Morelos in the wake of his latest red card.

The Gers striker was given his marching orders by Bobby Madden after a clash with Scott McKenna, with the Aberdeen defender dismissed for booting El Buffalo in the face.

Same Alex Rae who kicked an opponent in the head as he lay on the ground.  Ffs

Would like to meet some of these charlatans, turncoats and comedians who played for us yet disrespect our club and its fans when it suits their agenda (Ferguson, Boyd, Butcher and McCoist ), and shame them by reminding them of the focus, dignity, integrity and sheer class that  Sandy Jardine brought to the club and to our fans during the worst of times.

From being one of Alfredo's biggest critics to one of respect and pride in him, this man doesn't have a bad bone in his body.

He has improved no end and being our best player there are big expectations and tbh a lot being put on his young shoulders.

Yes, he gets frustrated, such is his will to win. Yes he has his moments of petulance, but he cares, but most of all I think he despises the injustice in the game up here. He understands the cheating and the bigotry.

This man is targetted 90 minutes of every game. As oppo players take it in turn to wind up, niggle him, petty foul him and try to injure him in their quest to get him to react and get red carded. All with no protection from match officials.

Now I for one couldn't take it without knucking one of those horrible cowardly bastards, but to his credit, he actually does not too bad a job at containing himself. Yes we witness at times in his petulance, but it is actually harmless. If he had been a Souness or a Roberts, there would have been bodies lying in heaps across the park.

He is simply not a dirty nor cynical player. He simply wants to go out there and do his thing. He is one of the few who actuality has a personality to go with it, but whilst he plays for us, that personility is a crime.

The pundits, the media, football fans across the land have simply set the narrative and the die has been cast that there is little coming back from.

I would love him to stay, but this fucking midden is destroying him. A sad but true indictment that reflects the bigotry and corruption in this backwater.

If he goes sooner than later, we will miss that personality of his, even his innocence, but he will flourish much more in a league where football is the game and not blind hatred.

This midden disgusts me.

Nice to see D'Art back, and already encouraging some other great posts like the above.

Good piece @D'Artagnan as always, these cunts selling their soul for a few measly quid make my skin crawl.

In threads such as these I see hypocrites though, guys who have said much worse about Alfredo when he wasn't playing as well as he is just now, ok these are only guys on the internet but it's double standards to act outraged when someone else says similar to what you have said yourself.

Cheers mate and yes it's good to see his moderating voice back again. Always with substance and a balanced view, unlike my many rants of the unhinged! His qualities are a rarity and has got such a talent. I would have loved him to be the voice of the fans on the board. Honesty and integrity are a rare quality in the corridors of power within the game these days.

Aye but DJ is a big uncle Tom according to most on here.

Most of the time he is, but do we not pay him as an ambassador now

Interesting to know why the evening times has suddenly had a shift in the narrative. One of the Cartels left a horses head in the editors bed maybe.

The tragedy of it is the ones who have made the big money off us are the ones who've jumped on the bandwagon and are still the ones who want to squeeze as much as they can out of our situation, you don't see the likes of Colin Stein, Bud Johnston or Willie Henderson acting like whores.

Credit where credit's due though, some just won't give him any credit now because they have made their mind up on him being an uncle Tom.

As for the Souness clip earlier, it's changed days and not applicable now, no one likes us but people most certainly care.

Me n D'art have a very similar writing style

Both of you being right handed and able to move a pen around doesn't count as a writing style.

However you do use all the right words, but not necessarily in the right order.

😜
