He’s had a great season for us creating plenty of goals domestically and in Europe. He had a hand in the goal that dragged us back in the game again today. Sadly, some people just love to hate him. If he did leave in the summer we would struggle to get someone anywhere near his level. Like it or not, he’s the best RB we’ve had since Hutton. Definitely deserved his Captaincy today out of the whole season imo. If he had played like this all season minus mistakes there wouldn't be this dreadful thread. Like the rest of the team he was absolutely pish in the first half and again like the rest of them seemed to come onto a game when the pressure was lifted off their shoulders after pretty much everyone accepted we were going to get beat. Also Hayes and Tierney going off freed a lot of space for him as Sinclair wasnt up for it and Macgregor isn't a left back. The mistake at the end though was just unforgiveable and was directly responsible for us going away from that place with fuck all once again. At fault for the 2nd goal that cost us everything, but had a good 45 minutes or so after Hayes and Tierney backed off him so it's all good.
