EPL it's time to go

I think there’s more chance of a two-tier European League, with us and them ( despite Liewell’s arse licking of all the major players and UEFA) being in the lower division.

The EPL don’t need us, there’s no place for massive travelling supports and gate money is becoming less important in comparison to sponsorship money.

The future will be 16 supersized franchise football clubs travelling the world, playing in various tournaments. The tavelling fan will cease to exist and "know nothing" entertainment and sports celebrities and high rollers.will make up the audience  at the game itself, the audience enjoying the camera on the big screen panning around them, even during the game itself, which will be secondary to them being there.

"Football" fans will sit in luxurious seating at home, dressed in  football kit and accessories, drinking the sponsor's beer, and choosing their favourite  teams on criteria such as top player, colour of jersey, name etc.

Traditional football will still exist, but on a much smaller and  more specialist scale, with loyal but small groups of supporters becoming parodies of what they were, a novelty in effect.  Mass audiences when not watching the superleague 16 teams will watch on demand instant gratification lowbrow spectacles as the digital age takes complete control.

Traditional football played in a stadium for the benefit of those in the stadium died a long time ago. Live TV and computer streams and money making commercial endorsements rule now.

Only hope of getting out of this cesspit is a Euro league with the Dutch, scandies etc. The chances of that are slim to none too. We're here for the foreseeable future lads.

All depends on Brexit and the Scots getting their own country back.

Well that will be what the SFA say fed by Nicola.

When Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, and Tottenham leave for a European league. We’ll get invited into a watered down EPL.

Man City just left behind?

Edit just see you mentioned city sorry but Tottenham, really?

Been done to death, never happening and if it did fuck starting again in the conference and spending at least a decade trying to get to the premier league with no guarantee we would ever get there.

We just need to get 55 in the bag and build from a position of strength and try to get Rangers minded people in positions of power.

This, never mind the Premiership, let's be optimistic, we get through the league's,then..... the championship, an absolute quagmire, packed with ex Premiership clubs, with plenty of money,a nightmare of a league to get out of.

I think a great number of us would like out of this tarrier infested shithole of a football league but not until we've rubbed their fucking noses in 55. You think the decisions we are seeing just now are debatable, well wait until you see what manifests when we are ahead of then next season. We'll be lucky if only 10 of our playing staff end up sine die and our fans banned from every football ground in the UK.

2012 was the time. We shat it as a support and wanted to go play with the part-timers instead.

This

the only time a club can even ask to join another league is when they are not registered to any other.

we had our chance when the sfa held us to ransom with their 5 way agreement but who’s to say any league would have took us? We could have ended up in limbo for a season or two and it would have played into the hands of the taig minded that we were finished.

I cant ever see it happening, we would be better inviting teams to our league to make it watchable.

I would be in favour of a British cup.

Mate, they don't need a British cup,I'd love to see it as well, the game in England is thriving, the EPL,the FAcup, great leagues,an international side that looks like they could win something, their Female team would beat our joke of a Scotland team,... they don't need, or want us

Correct bud they don’t need us.

plus if a cup did happen you would get the  epl and championship 3rd or 4th teams, like they do with the auto windscreen (or whatever they call it now )where they play the u23 squad.

😀

That's crap. The support don't decide. It was talked about everywhere even seriously in the media down south.

Too many clubs down there were/are against it. Why would they risk losing out on a league place and its riches to let a club from our league join theirs. Never happening.

Spot on mate .... when have we ever been consulted .... in all of our long history .... in the decision of which league we would like to play in?

Total "crap" .... as you rightly stated.
