Popular Post govanblue 16,847
Not for you though ya freeloading cheapskate ye! Instead, it's for the Bluenosed Residents of Erskine Bishopton Care Home. Ibrox Stadium Tour for 12 now booked (21st May) Followed by an Argyle Restaurant Lunch and a pint for 12. Total cost: £170 How's that for a bargain? I've lost count, but I think this will be the 9th Stadium Tour and Argyle Lunch we've provided for our Erskine Veterans, and we should all be very proud of that. On another matter, I've just this evening delivered those 7 Rangers Home shirts to Erskine. I'm sure we'll get some photos of them in action soon. It's important to remember that while Erskine is very well supported in terms of bread and butter fundraising, none of those well-deserved funds are going to get spent on Argyle Lunches, Rangers Home Shirts, or Rangers Season tickets for that matter, so if you want to see your Erskine Veterans continuing to receive these Rangers-related Recreational treats, then there really is no other way, exept donating to the RangersMedia Erskine Fund. Popular Post 16BlueSherbert90 19,222
Had Erskine Carers and our dear Veterans at a different care home today watching a small show which I thought was incredible:) it was a joy to see some recognisable faces again. When I work at Erskine, I mention that I donate to this fund and the staff gushed how lovely all the wonderful gifts and donations are and how the Veterans all have amazing days when they get to have because of these donations. They truly are grateful for all we do. So, I offer a big hurray to everyone who donates and for GB, Zetland and Bears are us for all your help in raising awareness to these fantastic Veterans and their Carers. You're all very special people x Edit: Keep those donations coming in. It's appreciated a lot x SeparateEntityMyArse, Zetland, CoopsLaud and 4 others

So that's an extra £40 Still a bargain, and this way we get to spread the love across the wider Rangers Family. Oh and here's a report from one of last season's RM Erskine Stadium Tours... Sadly, some of the Veterans pictured in that thread have passed away over the last year. I hope our Bluenosed contributions helped cheer them up during their last few years in Erskine, if only the results on the pitch could have done likewise! But onward and upward - we have some new recruits in the Erskine Rangers Supporters Club, looking forward to another successful season, like the ones we all vaguely remember, and hopefully I'll have some new photos to share with you soon.
