Lloyd 10,756
Southampton make Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield a transfer target By David Kent for MailOnline 12:28 10 Apr 2019, updated 12:28 10 Apr 2019 Since arriving from Burnley Scott Arfield has played regularly for Rangers He has played 42 times and his performances have caught eye of Southampton Rangers face fight to keep hold of experienced midfielder ahead of next season Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield is a target for Southampton this summer. Since arriving from Burnley ahead of the current season the Canada captain has played regularly for Steven Gerrard's side - making 42 appearances for the Scottish club which have included the three Old Firm games as well as a successful run in the Europa League. And his performances have caught the eye of Southampton who are understood to have a concrete interest in Arfield. Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield is a target for Premier League club Southampton this summer The 30-year-old has impressed at Ibrox this season - scoring 11 goals from midfield, including a hat-trick against Motherwell last weekend. He's also added eight assists to his tally making him the most productive midfielder in the league. But Rangers are now facing a fight to keep hold of their experienced midfielder ahead of next season. Arfield already has vast Premier League experience with Burnley, and Southampton believe his signing would represent a risk free swoop as they have proven success of recent years with the recruitment of Stuart Armstrong and Steven Davis from the SPL. Rangers are likely to value Arfield around the £3million mark (lol) scottyscott1963

McEwan's Lager 30,519
Sounds like rubbish to me. He actively wanted to come back to Scotland when Burnley were wanting to offer him a new deal. I can’t see him going even further south. hammer93

Interesting to read that he’s the most productive midfielder in the league when people were questioning what he actually offers us a few weeks ago and saying that he doesn’t contribute enough. Captain Hilts 12,819
He's already played for EPL relegation cannon fodder for a number of years, has recently had a chld up here and seems very settled. Highly unlikely this will happen.
