Popular Post tannerall 25,935
In my opinion shirts with makers label or advertising on it basically looks shit and cheapens the product. Oh for the good old days of simplistic class strips, you knew who teams were then without the branding. And as for names on shirts, just imagine going into work wit your name on the back of your shirt, you'd get slaughtered........... Can you really beat these classic strip with not a player name ,brand name or advert logo in sight ? dougie76, 32Blue, Essandoh and 5 others

Fair point, at least it's subtle, and I was too lazy to go back another decade or so for both.

I can't recall them winning the Home Internationals tourney during that period and they weren't involved in WC Finals either so I guess they weren't that good a team. I had that one as well, the quintessential Rangers strip for me. And that picture shows Ibrox how I’ll always remember it as well. If I’m not mistaken that picture might be of Rangers applauding the tarriers on to the field after some European achievement or other. Hard to imagine us ever doing that now, thank fuck.
