The brass neck of the cunts.

celtic have branded Jon Flanagan’s Old Firm appeal win “a huge embarrassment” for the Scottish game.

The Rangers defender was charged by the SFA compliance office Claire Whyte for decking Scott Brown at Ibrox last weekend

Ref Kevin Clancy booked Flanagan for elbowing the celtic skipper during the first half of Gers’ Old Firm win.

But three former refs reviewed footage and all agreed the Ibrox defender should have been sent off by the whistler.

Flanagan faced a two-match ban but an independent panel cleared him at Hampden today – leaving the Hoops amazed.

A celtic spokesperson said: “The whole matter is a huge embarrassment for Scottish football.”

Only saw the bold headline --- thought they were discussing McCafferty.

Our bench to man shouted "it's fuckin him again" when that clown brown ran into Flanagan flailing his arms trying to push Flanno (sorry about that) but that's what Stevie G calls him.
My new screen saver will be Flanagan winding the bastard up with the big cheesy grin :mutley:,and probably telling him "that was a fuckin corker ya cunt"

Might not be the 3 man panel, if the decision isnt unanimous then the original decision is kept,

I think anyway

Aye, I think it has to be unanimous. A 3 man panel for original decision then an independent panel (must mean not all kaflic refs) for the appeal. The whole system is a farce. We should appeal every decision that is made against us even if we think it is right. Fuck them!

That will be that original 3 man panels freebies fucked.
No more free loading for those 3 cunts.

More of a case they got caught with their fingers in the till and were caught red handed.
Would pish myself laughing if we issued a statement on the tramps "embarrassing scottish football" statement, with an add on of "dry yer fuckin slitty jap eyes". :mutley:

WE get away with assaults? Do they not watch their ‘captain’ week in week out and the amount of elbows he gets away with?

Of course they don’t they’re too busy watching Rangers...

The irony after tlb was greeting saying all we do is make statements. These cunts are the statement champions, the mad ambulance chasing bastards!

They are statement champions until the subject matter changes to endemic sex crimes that happened at their rancid club over the years....then the tumble weeds start blowing around the east end.

what is particularly galling about the incident is that it was an arm to the chest, no contact at all was made to the face but Brown went down 1. he did not need to and 2. he went down holding his face.

This incident should be about cheats trying to get penalties and ruining the game, to call it any other way illustrates that 1. you have an agenda or 2. you truly do not understand football

can i get an amen?

See the bit in bold. Wonder if that was reason it was dismissed on appeal. They wrote the charge. Ref clearly saw it. Case dismissed??

Would be good to see the written reasons but their website only provides the summary above.

That looks like it should be it - so why should it ever have got that far, as it was clearly dealt with on the day?

Just making the rules up as they go along, where it involves us.....

Also, there are that many laptop (& real) lawyers over on the scum side, who must know the rules by now - they’re probably making spurious complaints, simply so they can be offended when it doesn’t go their way.

It appears the SFA and their employees don't know their own rules. Sheer incompetence once more.

Or maybe when it's Rangers they like to rewrite them or even make them up as they go along. Surely not
