Rangers Who Didn't Play For The Country Of Their Birth?

Is it any cheaper than players playing for former colonies of their birth county?

Yes as they had the choice then of who to play for the colony or their birth county.

Yogoslavia breaking up meant that they have to choose a completely new country they have no loyalty too.

From 92-2003 it was known as the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. In 2003  it became Serbia and Montenegro. Grezda was born in a city that now makes up part of Kosovo.

See I don’t think it counts if you are born in say, Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, but then go on to play for Slovakia - like Sebo and Weiss, as the city of your birth remains in the country they play for.

I think it only counts when you are like Kanchelskis, born in what is now Ukraine, but played for Russia.

That's fair. Think most of them tended to play for countries other than the main 'successor' country (Yugoslavia/Serbia - USSR/Russia etc)
