Can promise you that Gerrard will not be in Scotland come next week.

Don't you dare say that ffs mate....... it would be a massive blow if he left. I think he'll stay tbh.

A Rangers spokesman said: "Let's get one or two things clear. Our manager has not been approached and he remains 100 per cent committed to the job that he has here."

I can almost hear Traynor's voice when reading that.

Seriously 😂😂

He ain’t ready for that, taking on any of the top 6 outside Man City or Liverpool is a poisoned chalice because they aren’t going to win anything.

This is the best time ever for lampard to take the job. Just sold their top player and have a transfer embargo.

Literally no pressure on him for the upcoming season whatsoever. It's a no lose situation for him, contrary to your opinion.

An insult to ourselves. Derby county or errm  Glasgow Rangers. They need to have a word with themselves. Our club is built on success.. silverware and being in Europe year in year out.

True, but it is not a bad way to break the circle of no silverware. Let's also not forget it was only one point for the Prem title so he has lifted the club hugely.

Although they were only 2 points off the title in 2014 & that didn’t buy Brenda much time.

As you say, though, not a bad way to break the cycle!👍

While we are better than we were a couple years ago, Stevie hasn't accomplished anything tangible yet. The prospect of him leaving before he's got our name back on some silverware is a piss take.

It's possible derby made an enquiry to the club first who then advised Gerrard of the approach.

It is possible but if that was the case the article should have read;  "Derby County were denied permission by Rangers FC to speak to Steven Gerrard regarding the potential manager job if and when it becomes vacant" Steven Gerrard also stated "he is not interested in leaving Rangers".

As far as I know, Frank Lampard is still the manager of Derby County, so if Chelsea end up with a manager other than Lampard then there are going to be a lot of media people looking rather stupid.
